Additive manufacturing: Science meets Industry
14 juni 2023

The FME AM network and the TUDelft AM community present a Lunch-roundtable Additive manufacturing: Science meets Industry.
The topics we will be discussing this afternoon are:
- Testing on manufacturability
- Integration of the AM production-chain (automation software /data collection)
These topics are hit by discussing relevant cases and theses from both point of views: scientific research and industrial realisation! Examples are:
- New versus used materials to repair 3D printed parts
- Certification is a false safety feeling!
Participating Industry:
- Renishaw - Philippe Reinders Folmer
- Parts on demand - Neil van Es
- Siemens - Hans Ouwehand
- 3D makers zone - Herman van Bolhuis
Participating sciences:
- Matthijs Langelaar - Mechanical Engineering – Computational Design and Mechanics
- Nathan Eskue – Aerospace Engineering – AI for Manufacturing
